No unique façade in comparison to the Empire State and the Chrysler building.

New York twin towers were never viewed as beauties, but they added significance to New York’s Skyline. It was an unexpected and unsurpassed idea to rebuild the twin towers at the exact same location. One WTC now stands at a symbolic 1,776 feet high, the tallest building in the western hemisphere, however not as dominating contribution to the city’s skyline and a better match for office towns such as Century City in Los Angeles or Frankfurt in Germany. New York is anything but an office town despite its major corporate headquarters.

This isn’t New York, not even after the four more highrisers have been completed.
