Paper’s color wheel, blends colors by rotating you finger or stylo, demonstrates nicely, how iPad apps revolutionize the interface design, while challenging the user experience (ux) for desktop applications.

Photoshop’s or Pixelmator’s color sliders offer less fun yet more precise control for color management.

Desktop applications such as Pixelmator, can now gain fresh ideas from how to combine the rough color wheel with precise color management controls, should this still be a viable option.
