When Medium published Reform, it’s latest collection on Tuesday Aug 5, readers got to see something entirely new.
BMW North America sponsored Re:form, as part of their integrated campaign for its new 4 Series Gran Coupé. Re:form is a collection on design, edited by Sarah Rich, with titles the likes of “The Epic Fail of Baby Car Seat Design”.
I like advertisement that has to crawl up to me, for me to discover it. I much prefer it over shrieking noise, which frightens me like circus clowns did back then and makes me run away.
On medium it’s the noise you don’t hear. Native advertising turns the noise level down as well. It is unclear though if it raises the level of awareness. Right now Europeans demonise this as masked advertising.
